      Tetraacetylphytosphingosine

Strengthen the skin barrier and combat inflammation

Our bodies are primarily composed of water, with the remainder consisting of cells. Sphingosines are essential components of these cells, playing a key role in building the skin barrier and fighting inflammation. From the sphingosines we use, all types of ceramides—fundamental elements of the skin—can be formed. This helps the skin retain optimal hydration and maintain a healthy glow. We use specialized plant-based sphingosines that work particularly well in creams.

    • Aqua

      Purified water

Water is the natural foundation of a cream. After all, water makes up 70% of our body. It is the main component of both our organism and our skin. For this reason, we do not use plant juices. Our creams are a combination of water and oils. However, cosmetic products do not simply use tap water, as tap water contains two things: minerals and microorganisms. Therefore, distilled water is used in cosmetics production.

    • Caprylic / Capric Triglyceride

      Pure oil

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride are medium-chain fatty acids that form the oil base in our Hautcreme+. These fatty acids are highly compatible with the skin and non-comedogenic, meaning they do not cause blemishes. The complex name comes from the combination of capric acid and caprylic acid: Caprylic (caprylic acid), Capric (capric acid), and Triglycerides (neutral fats).

In professional terms, it’s known as a "penetration enhancer"—a substance that facilitates deeper absorption. Additionally, our Pentylene Glycol is sustainably derived from sugarcane and corn and is ECOCERT-certified.
